Beginning in 1986 as a one-man operation, Diggit Excavating has increased from its humble beginnings to total site preparation contractors for residential, commercial, and public developments across southwest Ohio. Located in Lebanon, Ohio, Diggit is geographically positioned and equipped to perform all phases of underground utilities and mass excavating for clients in the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana region. Our typical project types include commercial and residential subdivisions, commercial and industrial sites; as well as schools, churches and government facilities.

Tom, Founder

Tom founded Diggit in 1986 after leaving his former career to set out on achieving his dream - starting Diggit Excavating. With a modest loan from his parents, he bought his first piece of equipment, and the rest is history. His one man operation steadily grew into the fully operational fleet we have today, serving hundreds of clients. Tom and his wife, Amy, poured everything into Diggit, ensuring that together they would create a company known for its integrity and grit. Though still heavily involved, Tom and Amy have taken on a lighter role in the business as they enjoy some well-earned travels and quality time with their family.

Wade, President & Owner

Wade graduated from the Univeristy of Cincinnati with a degree in Civil Engineering in 2015. After being raised in the industry and working for Diggit since his high school years, Wade purchased Diggit Excavating from Tom and Amy in 2020. In many ways, Wade was preparing for this role most of his life. His determination to carry out the legacy Tom and Amy worked so hard to establish, while continuing to grow the company in new ways, are what drives him to take Diggit to the next level now, and for many years to come. Wade resides in Cincinnati with his wife, Claire, and their 2 daughters.
